Betty Hung started my painting journey in the 90’s, I took lessons from different masters in Vancouver including Mr. Nigel Szeto and Mr. James Tan. With different styles of expression, my inspiration for my creativity come from nature. My works are usually not only expressing the image and also emotions
I joined several painting art organizations during these years, had been the director of Chinese Canadian Artists Federation in Vancouver, and now is the director of CAAC Vancouver.
I Participated in demonstrations of Chinese brush painting at International Gallery and different art lectures, now teaching at Chinese watercolor painting at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. in Vancouver.
My work “Hanging out on Pine tree” is selected by Regional Art Council in Vancouver Island, currently displaying in Comox Valley Airport.
